  • Keep a supply of healthy snacks and water: It’s easy to go for fattening convenience food, including gas station snacks, fast food and other unhealthy items. After all, you don’t have time to cook decent meals on the road. However, you can still stock up on healthier choices that are high in fiber and protein and low in added sugar or fat. Cheese, fruits, vegetables, lean meats and more are all smart choices. Get a small cooler to keep in your cab.
