Job description:
- Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies
- Serve as a lead professional for road map planning and optimization. Develop a strategy to optimize the roadmap to achieve a diverse range of goals, including categories and sustainability across the company
- Lead and mentor the transportation team, promote safe and effective driving growth and development, and contribute to the company's long-term success
- Plan or implement energy-saving changes to transportation services, such as reducing routes, optimizing capacities, employing alternate modes of transportation, or minimizing idling
- Prepare necessary reports at the request of management, organize and lead meetings; Direct participation in the recruitment process in the department
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
